The playground project on Arranmore was jointly funded by Donegal County Council & An Roinn Gnóthaí Pobail, Tuaithe & Gaeltachta (€35000+€35000)
The playground site and the adjacant carparking facilities have been donated by Comharchumann Oileán Árainn Mhóir Teo. Preparation works to the carpark prior to resurfacing works were completed on a voluntary basis. The resurfacing of the carpark was jointly funded by Donegal County Council & An Roinn Gnóthaí Pobail, Tuaithe & Gaeltachta. (€5000+€5000)
Subsequent improvement works to the grounds surrounding the playground and legal fees have been funded by Comharchumann Oileán Árainn Mhóir Teo. Ongoing caretaking and maintenance is carried out by Comharchumann Oileán Árainn Mhóir Teo.
A donation of €1365.00 towards the project was generously provided by visitors from Beaver Island.
