Club Óige Árainn Mhóir is one of three regional groups shortlisted to receive €10,000
Local communities will have the final say in choosing children's projects to receive funding from the AIB Better Ireland Programme. AIB's 185 main branches each has EUR10,000 to award to local projects and text votes from the general public will decide which of the most deserving children's projects should receive this funding.

Phase 3 of the Better Ireland Programme takes place from 6th May to 6th of June 2008.
At this stage the short listed groups put forward by each of the 185 participating branches go 'head to head' in a public text vote.
Members of the public will be able to text a vote for the group they believe deserves the funding of €10,000.
Text votes will cost 60c (including VAT) plus standard operator charges, all monies remaining after operator fees (+VAT) are applied will be donated to the relevant group. Each branch will actively encourage the local community to get involved in the text vote.
